At FolioDynamix, ensuring the continued operation of our business in the event of a significant business disruption or disaster is very important to us as well as our customers. Accordingly, FolioDynamix has developed a Business Continuity Plan (“BCP”) to respond to events that significantly disrupt our day-to-day business. The BCP was developed by identifying methods to protect and restore critical business processes, records, data and systems to enable the continuous and reliable delivery of services if an unexpected disruption of our business occurs. Because the timing and impact of events is unpredictable, flexibility is necessary when responding to actual disruptions when they occur. The goal of the BCP is to resume operations as quickly and smoothly as possible.
The FolioDynamix Business Continuity Plan is designed to be flexible and to address the following scenarios:
The FolioDynamix Incident Response Procedures address:
- Critical System or Technology Disruption
- Facility Disruption
- Severe Weather
While we have been diligent in our efforts to plan for unexpected events, it is impossible to consider every potential scenario and develop detailed responses for each. We are confident we have addressed the major threats to our business and can continue operating with minimum impact to our customers. It is possible, however, that in spite of our efforts, our ability to function after a catastrophic event may be adversely impacted by the actions (or failure to act) of third parties beyond our knowledge and control.
- Identification of all processes, mission critical systems and backup for such systems
- Business impact analysis and operations risk assessment
- Plans documented, tested and communicated to all staff
- Provisions for continuance of critical functions and operations
- Alternative locations for employees
- Critical business partners
In the event of an incident, we will move our staff from affected offices to relevant predetermined workspace failover sites. Employees may work from home, using our web-enabled systems, to maintain our technology or operational services. If employees’ homes are unavailable in the case of an external incident, employees will work from relevant predefined failover sites.
This information is provided solely to FolioDynamix customers and no further distribution is permitted without our prior written consent. Our Business Continuity Plan is reviewed and updated regularly and is subject to change. An electronic copy of our BCP is located on the FolioDynamix internal directory as well as hard copies are kept in each business office and safely offsite at BCP leaders’ homes.
